Gondoliers Auditions!
image

We had such an incredible turn-out at the auditions for Principal Roles in our January production of ‘The Gondoliers’! In fact, we had the highest number of auditionees in over ten years! How amazing is that?!
The Production Team and the Committee would like to say a big thank you to all those who auditioned last week. It made casting decisions very difficult, because the general standard was so high, but also an absolute pleasure to hear what a bunch of talented individuals we have on board! A Big Congratulations goes out to every one who auditioned, not just those of you who were successful this time. We look forward to hearing you all again auditioning for our NEXT production of The Sorcerer! Keep checking back here for details.

We are delighted to officially announce our Principal Cast.

We are all so happy for the acknowledgement of our hard work and our wins and nominations are true testament to the hard work, dedication and sheer talent of everyone involved. What we are even more proud of is that we put on such a wonderful show. The feedback from our Harrogate audience was heartfelt and enthusiastic – everyone seemed to enjoy it! Considering that we were one of three entries this year who put on a production of Patience it is great to know that our take on this well-loved and well-performed G&S Opera was received so well!

We would like to also offer our sincerest congratulations to all the other University Groups who participated, especially to Hull, who just pipped us to the post with their wonderful performance of Princess Ida and walked away UniFest champions. We are very much looking forward to seeing what you have got in store for us next year!
